What do you think of when you hear the phrase “professional video”? You must have some sort of expectation: excellent video quality, the ability to hear the audio and have the video match, and an overall cleanliness to the finished product. You’ve also probably heard the phrase “you get what you pay for.” Orange Legal’s Video Department is here to give you a product of exceptional quality and excellent customer service.
As a new member of the team, relatively fresh out of college as well, I was able to tell all of that the moment I applied for the job. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Television and Film, so I was already familiar with how professional quality should look, especially as a final product given to clients or an audience. Once I started working for the Video Department, I was impressed with the amount of preparation and care that goes into making videos for clients, from start to finish, and even beyond. For videotaping depositions, we always make sure to arrive at our destination an hour before the start time, in order to set up our equipment and uphold our professionalism.
We make sure we create the best quality video possible. We record to both the camera and to a backup recorder to make sure that the recording goes smoothly and our bases are covered. We are prepared for any event. We come prepared with multiple microphones, an audio mixer, a backdrop, camera, tripod, power strips, etc. When back in the office producing content, we always quality-check everything that goes out.
In only being here a short while, I have been impressed with the quality and thoroughness that the team goes through to deliver the best content possible. I am very excited to be a part of such a caring and hardworking team and can only hope to learn, grow, develop, and deliver the same amount of excellence that the rest of the team offers.
